Total upgrade of Berne's ring roads
The total overhaul of the ring roads around Berne will begin in earnest on 1 March 2010. The section of motorway between the junctions of Bümpliz/Bethlehem and Wankdorfdreieck will be extensively reconstructed between now and the end of 2011.
As a result, diverted traffic is expected in the north of Berne. The Wohlen-Kirchlindach-Zollikofen route will be affected in particular. Delays are therefore possible on the following routes:
- Route 100 Berne-Wohlen-Aarberg
- Route 101 Berne-Kappelenring/Schlossmatt-Berne
- Route 102 Berne-Uettligen-Säriswil
- Route 104 Berne-Meikirch-Wahlendorf
- Route 105 Berne-Meikirch-Seedorf-Lyss
- Route 106 Berne-Kirchlindach-Zollikofen
- Route 107 Berne-Wohlen-Uettligen
A series of accompanying measures are being taken to ensure that disturbance to the PostBus routes is kept to a minimum.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
